Board of Managers
The Board of the Company is comprised of representatives of the ownership group and an Outside Director. The Board provides governance, oversight, and guidance to the Management Team.
Kevin C. Clement || Outside Director
Kevin C. Clement has over thirty-eight years of energy industry experience across midstream market sectors of refined products, natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, asphalt and residual fuels. Mr. Clement business leadership has spanned twenty-three years with Koch Industries, nine at SemGroup and two years with SandRidge Energy. In 2016 Mr. Clement founded Lorica Energy, LLC as Managing Director and currently provides consulting services in the energy sector. Clement joined the Arcanum’s Project Raven as Partners Group’s outside non-executive director in February 2017.
Clement also joined Superior Pipeline Company board in April, 2018 as a non-executive Director for Partners Group on behalf of their equity interest. Superior Pipeline is a gathering and processing midstream subsidiary of Unit Corporation (NYSE ticker UNT) that is jointly owned by Unit, Partners Group and OP Trust.
Clement joined Elevation Midstream's board as the Independent Director in October 2018. Elevation Midstream is a private wholly-owned subsidiary of Extraction Oil and Gas operating in the DJ Basin of Colorado. Elevations parent company, Extraction, is listed on the Nasdaq (ticker XOG).
Prior to Lorica Energy, Mr. Clement held industry roles included President Midstream and Executive Vice President of SandRidge Energy, Vice President of SemGroup Operating G.P., L.L.C., President of SemStream, L.P., President of SemGas, L.P., President and Chief Operating Officer of SemMaterials, L.P. While at SemGroup Clement led the transformative growth platforms with the merger with NGL Energy Partners and the commercial negotiations for Maurepas Pipeline. Clement also served on the Board of NGL Energy Partners (ticker NGL) for three years from Nov 2011 to Oct 2014.
Mr. Clement began his career at Koch Industries, where he served for 23 years, holding various officer positions in natural gas liquids, refined products, and finance divisions—the last ten (1995-2005) as Vice President, Western Region—Koch Materials.
Over his career, Clement has actively led or participated in excess of $4 billion dollars in mergers, divestitures, and acquisitions
